IMPORTANT DETAILS
This ticket allows your vehicle and occupants into the UPICK Peach Orchard for a 1 1/2 hour time block. Mother nature plays an important role in the ripening of the peaches, so if any date is postponed, you will be notified by email.
- Please be respectful of the orchard and of other people.
- Cost of UPICK peaches are $2.75lb, The cost of labor, water, and other materials are just a few of the reasons why prices have increased.
- You are picking ripe peaches that are grown in the desert. If the juice isn't running down your arm, then wait a day or two and they will ripen. These peaches need to be eaten or used within 3 days of picking. Place in fridge to last longer.
- Freezing is easy: Peel, or leave skin on, cut up and place in freezer bag and into the freezer. Do not blanch these peaches. The more you touch them the more they bruise.
- We know you like to sample peaches as you pick, but we ask that you please keep that to only 1 peach per person and no more.
- Last, when picking peaches, look for the gold color. Try not to pick peaches that are green. Remember, what you pick is what you will pay for. So if you need to weigh your peaches as you go, please ask one of our employees to help you out. Thank you .
